On Tuesday at 19:00, league leaders Düren visit Energiequelle Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen – with a full squad.
SWD powervolleys Düren play away at Energiequelle Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen in the Volleyball Bundesliga on Tuesday at 19:00. Dyn streams the match live (subscription required). Especially at home, the Brandenburg side can be a very uncomfortable task for any opponent, says head coach Christophe Achten. Achten knows the Netzhoppers well: he coached them himself a few years ago.
Netzhoppers full of confidence
Their latest performance is another reason for caution: in Friedrichshafen the Netzhoppers lost by the narrowest of margins, 2-3, and returned home highly motivated and full of confidence. Achten points to Theo Timmermann, for years one of the best servers in the league – but not only because of him must Düren be ready for a tough match.
Goal: defend top spot
Düren travel to Brandenburg with a full squad. Andres Jefanov is back too, after a successful European Championship qualifying weekend with Estonia’s U20 national team: they won every match, and he was top scorer in the final. The aim of the long away trip is clear: take three points and defend top spot. It is just as clear that Düren will have to work hard for them.
