The first half of the season is done – and without a doubt we can call it a very positive one. With the clear ambition of competing for a top-three finish this season, the team has shown from the start that this goal is far more than just words.

After an intense start to the season that taught us a lot, we found our rhythm more and more. That is now reflected in the table as well: we are currently in a strong third place with a match in hand, only just behind the teams in first and second. This underlines not only our consistency but also the great potential in this team.

Our home matches in particular have already convinced on several occasions this season. The absolute highlights were without question the wins against Berlin and Lüneburg. Two top matches, two strong performances and two wins – all in front of a sold-out arena. The atmosphere, the energy of the fans and the determination of the team made these evenings true showcases for our club.

What makes this first half of the season so positive is not only the results but also the way the team presents itself. The team shows character, takes responsibility and keeps believing in its own game and in each other, even in difficult moments. That is what we want to keep building on.

With this starting position and the confidence we have earned over the past weeks, we look ahead to the second half of the season with great ambition and hunger. There is still a long way to go – but one thing is clear: we are right in the thick of it.

A heartfelt thank you to all the fans who turn our home matches into real volleyball nights. Together we want to keep writing this story. Because together we are strong.
